Privacy Policy

ZenSync ("we", "us", or "our") is designed with privacy by default. This policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact us at support@zensync.life.

What data the app can access

• Data you enter: mood check-ins, sleep entries, stress events, notes, and personal goals that you choose to record.
• Apple Health data (optional): with your explicit permission, the app can read selected HealthKit data such as steps, sleep, and other activity metrics. You control which categories are shared.

How your data is used

• Core features: to show your entries, trends, and analytics.
• On-device intelligence: analytics and insights are computed on your device using your data. Health data is not transmitted to our servers.
• Support: to answer your questions if you contact us.

Where your data is stored

• On your device: wellness entries and Health data accessed by the app are stored locally on your device.
• Backups: if you use system backups (e.g., iCloud Backup), your device may include app data in encrypted backups managed by Apple per your system settings. We do not have access to your iCloud Backup.

Sharing and selling

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not use third‑party advertising or tracking SDKs.
• Health data never leaves your device unless you choose to export or share it.

Health permissions

The app requests HealthKit permissions only for the categories you select. You can change or revoke permissions anytime in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices. The app reads data you allow. It does not write Health data unless you explicitly enable it for specific categories.

Analytics and diagnostics

• In‑app analytics shown to you are computed locally. We do not collect behavioral analytics about how you use the app.
• Crash reports: if you opt in to share diagnostics with developers via Apple, we may receive anonymized crash reports from Apple to improve stability. These reports do not include your Health data.

Data export and deletion

• Export: you can export your data from the app at any time (see Settings → Privacy or Export).
• Delete: you can delete your data from within the app. Deleting data in the app does not remove copies that may exist in your device backups.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect improvements or legal requirements. We will update the date above and publish changes on this page. Material changes will be highlighted in‑app where appropriate.
